![]() To simplify all of this I dont allow players to use any book other than their players books they dont get to use any dmg or monster manuals so they can't quote any of those rules to me as those rules are for gm's and not players if they want to use those books I would be more than happy to join their game. ![]() The idea that the items goes for 1000gp is dependant of so many factors that it is meaningless as anything but a guideline for what an economy might have under the assumed conditions for a city like perhaps Waterdeep or something, but not necessarily your world that might have more or less magic availability. How much a +1 cloak would sell for is completly dependant on the area's economy availability of this item how much desire there is for this item how easy it is for a vendor to move this item how well a pc can haggle to sell this item how much better a npc might haggle to get the cost down on the item and many, many other factors. Sheesh it is the gm that sets up any areas initial economy players can of course start businesses to affect this economy but then you really arn't playing d&d anymore but more like papers and paychecks lol old time joke for those of you old timers. Wow, I have never heard of anyone quoting rules for character wealth this is a new one to me. Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatibility License.
